Frequently Asked Questions

How do you perform the service?

Our tech will be clearly marked and will enter your yard carrying a small rake and a dustpan. He/she will walk your yard in a grid-like pattern to ensure every area of your yard is covered in an efficient manner. Once we finish the first walk-through, we'll check your yard a second time to get any poops that we might have missed the first time.

Are your services guaranteed?

Absolutely. If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us and we will do eveything in our power to make you happy.

What areas do you service?

We currently service most of Wall Township and some surrounding areas, including Allenwood, Avon By The Sea, Belmar, Brielle, Manasquan, Spring Lake and Sea Girt. The zip codes we service are 07717, 07719, 07762, 08720, 08730, 08736 and 08750. If your area is not listed, please contact us to see if we can accommodate you.

How often do I receive service?

It’s up to you. We offer the following service frequencies: Twice Weekly, Weekly, and One Time.

Do you offer One-Time cleanings?

Yes. This is usually requested by homeowners who might be hosting an outdoor party or are buying/selling a home. Total cost depends on the size of the yard and how dirty the yard is (see our Pricing). Payment for a one-time cleaning is due at time of service being rendered.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. You can cancel (or pause) service at any time.

How do you schedule my services?

We will schedule your date and approximate time where they fit best based on our existing routes. This helps with efficiency and, thus, helps keep our prices as low as they are.

However, if you need a specific date for some reason (for example, maybe you have a landscaper come regularly and would like us to clean the day before he gets there), let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

Do I have to be home when you service my yard?

No. We would love to meet you the first time we service your yard to say hello to your dog(s) and discuss any specific needs you might have. But again, it’s not necessary. And remember, if you will not be home and your yard is gated, the gates will need to be unlocked.

Do you alert us when you're coming?

Yes. We will send you a text that we are on our way.

Can our dog(s) be outside when you service our yard?

For safety precautions, we ask that your dogs be contained during service.

Will you service my yard during all types of weather?

We work rain or shine. However, heavy, sustained downpours and snow of an inch or more will cause a delay in service till the following week. You will still pay for that week, since the following week’s service will require double the pick-up.

Do you work year-round, in all types of weather?

Yes. Dogs never stop pooping, so we pick up poopin all season and in all weather. With that said, if there is a heavy, sustained rainstorm or a significant snowfall, your service might be delayed a few days, or possibly until the folowing week's service. If the latter occurs (it's very rare), you will still be charged for the missed service because we will be picking up twice as much poop the next week.

Furthermore, if a major rainstorm or snowstorm is forecast, we will try our best to get to as many customers as possible before the snow comes (even if it means doing your service a day or two earlier than normal).

What do you do with the poop?

We double-bag the waste and place it in the customers garbage can. For an additional fee, we can dispose of it in accordance with city, county and state regulations.

How do you protect my dog from catching a disease from another dog?

We disinfect our tools and shoes after every yard we service to ensure cleanliness and prevent the spread of disease.

What if you see something weird in my dog's poop?

We care about your dogs health so if we see anything suspicious in any of the poops we pick up, we will take a picture of it with our cell phone and bag it separately. We will send you the photo and leave the separate small bag of poop outside your house. This way, if you decide to take the poop to the vet, you'll have it. Or if you decide there is no problem, you can toss the small bag into your outside trash can.

Is dog poop a fertilizer?

No, dog waste is protein based. Unlike horses and cows, whose waste is vegetable based, dog waste has parasites and bacteria that can be harmful to your family, your pets and yourlawn.
